Our story

Linkeep was born from a simple conviction: the best opportunities usually come from good meetings.

Its founder, Gaëlle Maréchaux, lived that reality up close. Between student associations, entrepreneurship competitions, networking events and collaborative projects (including her own ventures, run alongside her studies at HEC Montréal), every meeting could open the door to a new opportunity. Her day-to-day: meeting new people, building partnerships, finding collaborators, connecting complementary profiles.

But after a few months, a problem became obvious: impossible to remember every person she'd met. Where had you crossed paths? What does this person actually do today, what are their services, their skills? Had you already worked together, and how did it go?

That information existed, but scattered everywhere: some on LinkedIn, some on Instagram, a few lines on a website, the rest in Messenger or just in the memory of a conversation. The phone's Contacts app, for its part, is limited to a name and a number.

None of these tools kept what actually makes a professional relationship valuable: its context, its history, its potential for collaboration. LinkedIn tells you where someone works and what they studied, rarely what actually matters when you're looking for a collaborator: what this person does today, what they like working on, and why this relationship could become an opportunity tomorrow.

This lack of relationship memory quickly became a real obstacle: impossible to activate your network at the right moment once the right information is no longer within reach.

That's the observation Linkeep was born from: not a new social network, but a tool to build a real relationship memory. A place where every meeting keeps its context, where every collaboration enriches the relationship, where your network becomes a resource you can organize, understand and activate whenever you need it.

A network isn't just the people you know. It's built through what you share, the projects you work on together, the opportunities you create for each other.
