Privacy policy
Data you provide us
Your profile (name, photo, job, contact details, fields, expertise, skills, services offered, location), your contacts and the information you save about them (private notes, meeting context, relationship history, trust stars), and your projects. Everything is entered by you or voluntarily imported (QR code, scanned contact): nothing is collected without your knowledge.
How this data is used
Only to make Linkeep work: showing your network, your projects and your follow-up reminders, generating your business card/QR code, and sending you the notifications you've chosen to receive (Settings > Notifications). No data is used for advertising purposes.
Legal basis for processing
Linkeep processes your data based on: your consent (when explicitly given), performance of the contract that binds you to Linkeep (providing the service you requested), a legal obligation, or Linkeep's legitimate interest (e.g. security, fraud prevention). You can withdraw your consent at any time when processing depends on it.
Visibility between Linkeep users
By default, your contacts and projects are only visible to you. Some features involve explicit sharing with other Linkeep accounts: an introduction (you choose what to share and with whom) and sharing your profile card via QR code or link. The profile visibility setting (Settings > Privacy) is already saved but has no effect yet, pending the arrival of profile search between members.
Subprocessors and hosting
Your data is hosted and processed by the following subprocessors, each limited to what's necessary for its function: Supabase (database and authentication, protected by access rules ensuring only your account can read or modify your own contacts and projects), Resend (sending invitation emails), Expo (push notifications: only your device's technical token and the notification content, never your contacts or projects), Apple and Google (if you choose to sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google), and RevenueCat (managing the Pro subscription and validating purchases). None of these subprocessors is allowed to use your data for its own purposes. Since some are based outside the European Union (notably in the United States), this processing may involve a transfer of data outside the EU, governed by the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or equivalent).
Notifications
Follow-up reminders (e.g. "Reach out by...") are scheduled directly on your phone and never go through any server. Other notifications (network, projects, account, app) follow the preferences you set in Settings > Notifications.
No advertising tracking
Linkeep includes no analytics, audience measurement, or third-party advertising tools. Your use of the app is not tracked for commercial purposes.
Retention period
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. A request to delete your account results in the deletion of your data; the final processing is handled by our team, outside the app, after your request.
Your rights
You can export all your data from Settings > Privacy at any time, correct or delete any information directly in the app, and request permanent deletion of your account from Settings > Delete account. Under the GDPR, you also have the right to access, rectify, restrict, object to, port and erase your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. For any request, write to us at support@linkeep-app.com: we'll respond within a maximum of one month. You can also file a complaint with your national data protection authority if you believe your rights are not being respected.
Minors
Linkeep is a professional tool and is not intended for people under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes significantly, you will be informed within the app before the changes take effect.
