Growing your network without it feeling like networking

"Networking" has a bad reputation, and it's earned it: the caricature version (collecting business cards, adding everyone on LinkedIn after an event, sending a generic message) doesn't build anything solid.

What actually works rarely looks like networking at all. It's remembering what someone mentioned and sending them the right article three weeks later. It's reaching back out for an actual reason, not just to "stay in touch." It's introducing two people in your network because you noticed they'd genuinely benefit from talking.

None of that requires being extroverted or strategic. It just requires not losing the thread, remembering the context long enough to act on it at the right moment. That's exactly what human memory is bad at, and exactly why Linkeep exists.
