Why LinkedIn isn't enough

LinkedIn is very good at one thing: displaying a public professional profile. Current role, past experience, education, a handful of recommendations. Useful for introducing yourself, much less useful for remembering.

The problem isn't LinkedIn itself, it's what we expect from it. A LinkedIn connection says nothing about the context of how you met, what you actually talked about, or whether you've worked together and how it went. Six months later, one connection among 800 others barely stands out.

What makes a professional relationship actionable isn't someone's current job title. It's context: where you met, why you started talking, what this person could bring to a specific project. LinkedIn doesn't keep that information, and it was never meant to.

Linkeep doesn't replace LinkedIn. It does what LinkedIn doesn't: keep the memory of the relationship, not just the person's public profile.
