Making a good introduction
Introducing two people puts your credibility on the line with both. A successful introduction is prepared.
Check it makes sense on both sides
An introduction is only useful if both parties get real value from it. If you have doubts about either side, better to ask first than to put someone in an uncomfortable position.
Give context, not just a contact
"Let me introduce you" with no explanation leaves both people guessing why. A short message explaining the link between the two profiles changes everything for what follows.
Keep a record
A completed introduction is a relationship event in its own right, for you as much as for the two people involved, useful to look back on if either of them brings it up later.
